Dr. Todd Barrett is originally from Boiling Springs, SC. He remained in Spartanburg and attended Wofford College.
After graduating first in his Dental School class from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Barrett completed his residency at the University of Maryland then returned to South Carolina to practice.
He started Palmetto Endodontics in 2001 and has completed over 40,000 procedures.
Dr. Barrett has been continually rated as a top endodontist in the Columbia area.

Activities & Interests
Dr. Barrett and his wife, Crystal, have two sons (both attend Wofford College) and reside in Columbia. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time hanging out with his family and friends at Wofford, fishing in Montana, chilling at Folly Beach, travelling to watch professional baseball games and driving tractors at his timber farm.

Dr. Barrett’s calm, easy manner allayed my anxiety and fears about having a root canal. He patiently and thoroughly explained why I needed the procedure, what he would do to correct the problem, the approximate length of time for the procedure and the remote possibility of things that could go wrong. After he completed the procedure, Dr. Barrett explained how he corrected the problem and showed me the results on x-ray. I’m happy to report that the procedure was successful and went just as he explained, but without any glitches. Should I require future endodontic care, I would return to Dr. Barret even though he's not in my dental plan's network!
