Dr. Todd Barrett is originally from Boiling Springs, SC. He remained in Spartanburg and attended Wofford College.
After graduating first in his Dental School class from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Barrett completed his residency at the University of Maryland then returned to South Carolina to practice.
He started Palmetto Endodontics in 2001 and has completed over 40,000 procedures.
Dr. Barrett has been continually rated as a top endodontist in the Columbia area.

Activities & Interests
Dr. Barrett and his wife, Crystal, have two sons (both attend Wofford College) and reside in Columbia. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time hanging out with his family and friends at Wofford, fishing in Montana, chilling at Folly Beach, travelling to watch professional baseball games and driving tractors at his timber farm.

I had a very pleasant and comfortable experience with Dr. Barrett and staff for both my evaluation (Summit Centre office) and root canal (Forest Drive office). Dr. Barrett and staff put me at ease for both visits and provided explanations before, during and after the treatment. Dr. Barrett’s technique for local anesthesia and root canal was very gentle and compassionate and I tolerated the procedures with ease. I’m very grateful for his care and that my tooth was saved. I had no pain during the procedure and post-procedure I was fortunate to have very little discomfort, only needed to take over the counter pain reliever for a couple days. Thank you Dr. Barrett and staff for a job well done. Dr. Barrett is AWESOME and I highly recommend him.
