Dr. April Spitz is a native of Bamberg, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

During her preclinical and clinical training, she developed a passion for the specialty of endodontics. After completing her DMD, she attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned her Specialty Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Spitz strives to provide compassionate and expert care utilizing her knowledge and today’s advanced micro-endodontic techniques.

WOW! I have never liked going to the dentist or having any dental procedures done but unfortunately they are a necessity. I had a root canal today and I have had one in the past with another dentist. Today's procedure was quick, easy, and painless. Dr. Spitz and her staff were all delightful as well. If i have any other dental issues in the future, I will surely go to Palmetto Endodontics.

Patient Review

It had been a long time since I had a root canal, I was not looking forward to getting one. Dr Spitz and her assistant were amazing. Put me totally at ease. The whole experience was unbelievable. She explained everything as she went along. Never felt a thing the whole time. No after effects. If I ever need another I will definitely go back there.
