Dr. April Spitz is a native of Bamberg, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina, James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

During her preclinical and clinical training, she developed a passion for the specialty of endodontics. After completing her DMD, she attended the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned her Specialty Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Spitz strives to provide compassionate and expert care utilizing her knowledge and today’s advanced micro-endodontic techniques.

When I was first scheduled for my root canal, the young lady I spoke with over the phone was very reassuring as I was extremely nervous. Dr. Spitz assured me it would be fine and also checked on me throughout the procedure. She's very knowledgeable and gentle but definitely gets the work done. Hopefully I will not have to return, but if necessary, this office is definitely my first choice!

I was referred to Dr. Spitz and she was able to complete my root canal within just a few hours of seeing my regular dentist. The staff was very helpful, I was able to complete the paperwork before I arrived, and I was seen within a few minutes after arriving. Dr. Spitz was very knowledgeable, explicit, and kind.
